Chess Journey
Pratitee Bordoloi is a Woman FIDE Master and one of the most successful junior girls in Indian chess. Between 2022 and 2025 she won gold at the FIDE World Cadet Cup, the Commonwealth Youth Championship three times, the Asian Youth Rapid Championship, and three separate national championships — a run of results across classical, rapid and blitz formats that few players of any age can match.
Her defining result came in 2025 at Batumi, Georgia, where she won the FIDE World Cadet Cup Under-12 Championship. She had already taken Silver at the same venue in the FIDE World Cup G12 Championship the year before, making the 2025 gold a direct step up on the world stage. She was awarded the Woman FIDE Master title in 2026, having earned the Woman Candidate Master title in 2024.

Crowned 25th Asian Youth U-10 Girls Blitz Champion at Al Ain, UAE, adding two Team Golds and a Silver at the same championship. Won Gold at the 36th National U-11 Girls Championship in Visakhapatnam and the Karnataka State U-11 Girls Championship in Mysuru, with Bronze in the State U-15 Girls at Gulbarga.

At the Commonwealth Championships in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, took Gold in both Classical and Rapid and Silver in Blitz in the U-12 Girls category. At the Asian Youth Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan, won Gold in U-12 Girls Rapid — with two Team Golds and a Bronze — and Silver in the Classical event. Took Silver at the FIDE World Cup G12 Championship in Batumi, Georgia. Nationally, Gold at the 12th National Schools U-11 Girls in Patna and Silver at the 37th National U-11 Girls in Hyderabad. Also took Silver in the Karnataka State U-17 Open championship at Mangaluru, competing in the open section against older players.
Won the FIDE World Cadet Cup Under-12 Chess Championship at Batumi, Georgia. Added Silver in both Standard and Rapid at the Western Asia Youth Chess Championship in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Awarded the WFM title, then climbed steeply through the second half of the year — from 2020 on the July 2026 list to a peak standard rating of 2393 in September 2026.
